TREKKING LAPPONIA - Alla ricerca dell' Aurora Boreale

Lapland is a vast region extending to the north of the Scandinavian peninsula and involving Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, where the Sami population lives and has a strong connection with nature and reindeer farming.

In a remote area in the north of Finland we will live the unique experience of the polar winter. The Northern Lights will accompany us at night, while sled dogs, reindeer and snowshoes will be our companions during the day.

A week full of activities to fully experience these magical places in search of the Northern Lights and sighting of this very particular natural phenomenon. This time of year is great for spotting the Northern Lights as there are many hours of darkness as the sun rises at 9 and sets at 15, so we will be able to enjoy the light for excursions but also the darkness for the "hunting" auroras.

We will stay in an excellent wooden cottage equipped with all comforts, dining room, sleeping area and bathroom with sauna.

Days Details:

Day 1: Departure from Malpensa airport for Kuusamo, arrival at the local airport and transfer by private bus to the private lodge at Kikta lake and dinner at the lodge.

Day 2: Excursion on the frozen lake, afternoon barbecue in the sauna and hot tube, dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Excursion with sleds and huskies, lunch in the Kota and stop at the cafeteria and dinner in the lodge.

Day 4: Excursion to the natural park, lunch with Finnish barbecue. Afternoon in the sauna and hot tube.

Day 5: Excursion with snowshoes in search of the Northern Lights, sauna and hot tube, dinner at the lodge.

Day 6: Visit to Santa Claus Village, sauna and hot tube and dinner at the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer by private bus to Kuusamo airport and return to Italy in the evening

Participation fee:

Adults: 1990 euro ALL INCLUSIVE (Excursions, Transfers, Lunches, Dinners, Equipment Rental, Insurance)

The fee includes: planning and drafting of the itinerary, professional accompaniment with guide, insurance, overnight stay with breakfast, lunches and dinners, private transfer to and from the airport in Finland and transfer by private vehicles for the various excursions, winter clothing rental for the low temperatures (winter suit for poles).

The fee does not include: travel expenses to / from Italy, drinks with meals, anything that does not appear in the item "the fee includes"
